Section hair evenly, and comb each section before winding. Roll the section of hair around the barrel. Hold in place for 8-12 seconds. For looser, free-flowing curls, roll more hair. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair. To remove curling wand, unwind the hair. To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. Some experimenting is necessary when first using the curling wand, or when changing to a different hairstyle.
