Ensure that the curling wand is fully charged. Please connect the appliance to a power source if the battery is low or if it needs to be charged.
- Ensure detachable clamp is fitted properly. Push the clamp onto the curling iron and align the sides until you hear a click. Make sure the three holes on the clamp are properly lined up, this ensures the clamp locks securely into place.
- To remove the clamp, gently pull and unclick both sides until it releases from the curling iron. Pull it away carefully once both sides are disengaged.
- Turn on the battery on/off button; the curling wand is now in standby mode.
- Press and hold the temperature control button for 2 seconds to turn the curling wand on and it beeps once. The default temperature is 210°C.
- Use the temperature control button to set the desired temperature. There is a total of 5 temperature settings from which to select including: 170°C, 180°C, 190°C, 200°C and 210°C. The curling wand will beep for each operation.
- Press and hold the temperature control button for 2 seconds to turn the curling wand off
- The curling wand will auto-shutoff 10 minutes after non-use.
- When the battery is low, the curling wand will beep 3 times and the battery indicator will flash until the unit shuts off.
- The curling wand can be used during charging.
Curling
- Wash and dry the hair. Comb through using a thermal protectant product
- Separate out a section of hair.
- Wrap hair around the barrel and clamp it, keep in place for 8 seconds to allow curl to set. Make sure that hair spreads around the barrel instead of gathering together for better results.
- Pull the clamp out gently and release hair from barrel.
- Repeat this process with remaining sections.
- Switch the curling wand off when the desired effect is achieved.
- Before you complete the style, allow the hair to cool briefly.
